First Weekend Club – Mothers and Daughters

Carl Bessais’ featrue film “Mother and Daughters” won the best Candian feature film award at the 2008 Vancouver International Film Festival and was presented courtesy of First Weekend Club at Vanvouvers’ swankiest film venue District 319. The pictures tell the story of the night but to get to know “The District” well that takes a little more time…..
The best way to find out is to go to First Weekend Club Screenings called “Canada Screens” co produced by Indie film impressario Paul Armstrong, co-produced by Alexandra Staseson and Anita Adams Vancouver rep of First Weekend Club.
This is Vancouvers best kept secret for a night on the town with film artists and great film.
P.S. Canada screens and District 319 comes complete with a bar, appetizers, live entertainment, and the seeting is full leather chairs with foot rests….. Just do it.
